In addition, we encourage interested families to visit BCNS to experience the school's offerings first hand. The goal of BCNS is to provide rich learning opportunities for its students through a curriculum designed around themes and projects combined with a nurturing and dedicated staff. Because of the low teacher to student ratio (1:6), and the involvement of parent helpers, students receive individual attention and a curriculum designed to fit their individual needs. The mixed age classroom (ages 3-5), further enhances the childrens' ability to explore concepts at their own pace. As a cooperative, parents are involved in all aspects of the school. BCNS is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
